The Basic Course in Pavement Engineering provides you with a general introduction to the basic concepts and methods used in the field of pavement engineering. The course covers key aspects of road materials, materials testing and classification, road design and road management in fine detail. During the course, you will gain a good understanding of concepts and procedures across a range of possible pavement engineering dilemmas. Not only will you therefore be equipped with the requisite skills to deal with the analytical aspects of design, but you will also be able to liaise and consult directly with communities and individuals.
